DW Case Management Services was founded by Deborah Wunder. She is an Independent certified medical case management nurse consultant, providing medical case management services on the DELMARVA Peninsula (eastern shore of Maryland, eastern shore of Virginia and lower Delaware corridor). Having worked as a medical case manager, formerly termed rehabilitation nurse for over 30 years, Deborah has a solid understanding of the devastation an injury can create in an individual's life and the need to service the injured worker and account in an effort to rehabilitate the individual to their optimum potential. Creative interventions, defined pathways and clear understanding of deficits and options for alternative careers and daily routines are inherent in her mindset. Always proactive to resolve the difficulties that the injured worker experiences by quickly coordinating services and facilitating the plan of care results in the best possible outcomes to her clients. Cost savings exist by virtue of rapid intervention and coordination of services. Deborah Wunder RN CCM CMDS WCCM opened DW Case Management Services as a result of her personal desire to provide personalized service to both the injured worker and client without the interference of corporate culture.
Deborah resides on the eastern shore and has established a professional relationship with many of the area physicians. Her existence on the shore both professionally and personally offers a local network to area injured workers and their employers. Shore cultures and understanding of the local community enhances her ability to facilitate the return to work process and coordination of services with the highest ethical standards and no compromise.
